We had a busy and wet weekend! Finally, we got to hang out with Matt and Christina..and of course the friend of the hour...Alyssa Rose! That is all that mattered all weekend to Chloe! Lots of fun!
(And Ginny...she was fun as well)

GROSS

My kids are a mess...but I love them!

Last day of school

Chloe had a terrific year. She had lots of old friends and made a wonderful new friend! She loved her teachers and they were such a blessing! She amazes us with how much she learns and loves to learn!
Here are pics of Ms. Leslie, Ms Nancy...and I didn't get one of sweet Ms. Mary Anne!

Ducks

We went to feed ducks at "Aunt Betsy's Pond" as Chloe calls it.
I was affraid that Anabelle was going to go swimming. We didn't stay long bc it got cold..in MAY! Hello! We saw some ducks..and evil duck that reminded me of the days at Theta pond, we saw a swimming dog and a hot air balloon. Quite a lot of firsts:)

Just some fun pictures

I have been playing with my camera. Laurel and Anabelle are great models for the "action/sport" setting!
They are so cute just being curious in the yard!

Fun at the park after church

We had fun going to have a picnic with some friends after church on Sunday!
The kids played a lot! and then crashed!

Mother's Day

I had a great mother's day. We went to church and then came home. Ginny and I took mom to see a movie and then we went to eat dinner at mom's. Fred cooked! The kids played and acted very silly. At one point Ginny had me doing high kicks and fan kicks to the Annie sound track. I am not sure that was a great idea!

BIG BOY BATH

Corbin took his first big boy bath! He loved it. Guess a bath is fun when you already have a 'toy' in the tub at all times. I will save those pictures for his wife:)

Finally a new camera

Well, for mother's day I got a new camera! Finally I can send pictures again! I am sure some of you are so thrilled about that:)
Anyway, this week has been fun so far:)
My dear friend Traci sent out an email that went something like this:

Just when I didn’t think it could get any better…..

We are have a fundraising luncheon today at 11:30 for Senator and Republican Presidential Candidate John McCain. I’ve already talked to two news stations this morning. Watch for me on C-Span!!!

Here is the thing, no one here is excited or thinks it’s cool except me and the secretary. In fact, on the party planning sheet, the catering director had his name wrong and in our staff meeting I asked it if was for “the John McCain” and no one knew who I was talking about.

I sent her this in response:
Wow...you lead a more exciting life then me. My day started at 3am. Chloe screamed for Fred bc she was throwing up. He had her in the shower, letting me stay in bed. at 3:10 I heard Laurel cry. I ran in there and she was puking as well! I walked her into the bathroom and handed her to Fred. I went back in her room to change her crib sheet. The next thing I know at 3:15 Anabelle is throwing up! Seriously. By the time I took her in the bathroom to Fred I was laughing. He wanted me to go check on Corbin. So I head down the stairs only to miss, by an inch, the poo Barney has left us! Great! Corbin was fine. I moved his monitor into his crib, so I could hear anything. I got everyone's sheets changed and got back in my room and all 3 girls were in my bed! We got everyone back in their rooms and Laurel puked again, just before hitting the sheets. i was thankful for that. changed her jammies again and got her in bed. Anabelle then woke us up 10 minutes later bc she puked again. Got her cleaned and back in bed. Laurel again when she got up at 8. Anabelle and Laurel at 9:30. I will keep you posted. Needless to say i didn't make it in the office and L&A are in diapers. Everyone is happy though. In fact A just came to be with her bathing suit top on!
Enjoy your luncheon! Think of me...

Cancun

Ok, i finally got a few pictures from Cancun. They are from a disposable camera...how sad:) We did have a nice time. I can't wait for another vacation!

You are so funny - do it again - oh that is so funny - do it again

Corbin was suppose to have his surgery today, but at his pre-opt appt on Tuesday we discovered he had a double ear infection and a low grade fever. This is a video of him the night we found out about his ear infection.
Is he really laughing or, is he learning at an early age to kiss up to his sisters?....."you are so funny - do it again - oh that is so funny - do it again"(credit to Christina Hedding!)

An email from my Mom

My last 30 minutes. Laurel and Anabelle were really fussy and fighting. I was trying to feed Corbin his lunch. Saw a drop of blood on the floor – couldn't figure out where it came from – laurel walked in the kitchen with blood running down her leg. It was from a scab that opened. Was cleaning it up. Anabelle got into Corbin's squash and got it all over her dress. Put a band aid on Laurel – Anabelle wanted one – then Laurel then Anabelle – gave the band aid box to Chloe and told her to put them on them. A lady came from Custer Road to pick up some crosses I was donating. Bear was wild – was trying to put him outside before I let her in – he wouldn’t budge and really bared his teeth at me and growled so I dragged him into the front bedroom. Had nice conversation with the lady. But now I have 2 down and 2 to go!!!!!

Running through the sprinkler

Today I put the girls in the wagon and Corbin in the front pack(ok...at 22.5 lbs at 6 months..
he made it for a work out!)
We walked down the street and someone had sprinklers going. They girls jumped out. It was so fun to see them run through the sprinklers...how fun...to be that little and easily happy!

Choir Performance

I would also post pictures from Chloe's Choir performance...but they are on the
camera that the person who hopefully has pimples in their ears and nose have!
I have video... but have to get it on You Tube first! Will work on that!

Kids say the funniest thing

On April 18th my sister sent this...her 4.5 year old son said...

I said: Evan your breakfast is ready!
Evan said: But I don't have my shoes on yet.
I said: I don't think you have to wear shoes to eat your breakfast.
Evan said: Well...that is how the professionals do it!

And I fell out of the Bed

At 6:40 this morning I heard a thud! Then I heard Chloe crying! In my sleep induced state, I ran into her room. She was so precious. Just lying on the bed crying. She was crying so hard she couldn't even tell me what had just happened. Finally she perked up when I said she could get in my bed and watch some cartoons. She never gets to get in our bed! So she told me she fell out of her bed! She said she was asleep! She was still upset about it so I peaked in there from my bathroom, and said, "You are just like Mrs. Leonard!" She slowly started to smile! A little bit later I walked by her again and said, "Good morning Mrs. Leonard!" She said, "I am not Mrs. Leonard!" and then started to giggle! Finally when we were about to head down stairs to breakfast she told me, "You have to tell Mrs. Leonard I fell out of my bed just like her! It will make her feel better!" So, Kristi...if you are still scarred from that event...you are now in good company! Chloe didn't even have on silky pjs!
Love you!

To those who don't know the story....In college Kristi literally fell out of her top bunk bed, above me, and on to the hard wood floor. It was about time for am classes(not that it really mattered). She had on silky Green and White polka dot pjs. We were both stunned, but she was ok! I felt the window that morning and it was freezing so we decided class was optional. We took the option:) This has become one of Chloe's favorite stories to hear...I leave out the class optional part though! And any liquids that might have been possibly involved the night before!
