Trip to Tulsa

We had a great visit in Tulsa...well excluding the ER vist and Asthma attack:) but all in all:) I LOVED having the kids together with their future spouses:) They all had a great time! And I am sure Chloe and Rhett are to be together forever. They already fight like a married old couple!
Corbin met his Great Grandmother for the first time! And the girls LOVED playing on the tire swing! I climbed on top of the support bar to get a picture. What I won't do for a pic. I think I pulled something!

I drove the 4 kids and Fred flew in the next day! Did you know you can fit a double stroller with 4 small children on it in the Shell bathroom in Atoka, Oklahoma! Oh and 1 mommy! That is important info that should be published!

Fred got to hang with his frat brother Rob and his son. Just 1 week younger then Corbin!

So, Laurel somehow smashed her hand in the door jam while we were out of town. So we had to take her to an Urgent Care in Broken Arrow Ok. They said her nail would just fall off and grow back. It looks awful. We bandaged it and so on. This was Thur. night. Today we went to the ped. and she said that she needed to have it looked at and probably reattached bc she could possible 1. never grow another nail 2. grow a nail that is deformed! Great, there goes her hand modeling job. It is on her left had as well!
We saw the surgeion and he did have to sew it up. They gave her gas and did it while I sang song after song! It was getting slim pickins when I busted out the ZT ZTA ZETA ZETA TAU ALPHA songs! She was a trooper...it was so gross!

And we fit 6 kids and 2 adults in my car. we went to McDonalds and wanted to leave the entire time!
It was so fun...i think we will wait a while to do it again!

Breaking My Heart!!!!!

So, I had to make a quick dessert option the other night for company. I had a mix with water package of cookies. They already had egg in them. So I made them. I also made egg free shortbread cookies for all the kids to eat and decorate(since Chloe is allergic). Everything was fine. She even asked me for one of the other cookies, and I told her they had egg. No biggie.

So the next night we were getting the kids ready for bed. We were all SO tired. L&A driving me crazy in the kitchen, and Fred said he thought they were hungry. So I threw them in their chairs and gave them the "egg" cookies. They are not allergic. But since I usually give all my kids the same stuff, we just usually don't have stuff like that with egg in the house. So Chloe had already had a "sugary" snack. She wanted something else now. I told her fruit. So she saw the girls eating the cookies. She didn't ask for a cookie. She looked at me and said, "Do those have egg?" I said, "yes." Tears whelped up...she said, "They are not allergic!" I said, "No. But you already got to have candy. You can have fruit." She RAN into the bathroom and laid down on the floor...crying "But why am I allergic! Why am I allergic! I don't want to be allergic!" Can you just say...stab me 1000 times and it would have hurt me less! I went in there and told her I just read an article in the hospital magazine (which I had) that said lots of kids are allergic to egg, milk and peanuts! You are not allergic to milk! And it also said lots of kids are not allergic once they get older! She said, "Like Megan?"(this is her favorite little friend at school's 6 year old sister...anyone older is in relation to her now!) I said yes! So then she cried again. So before it was all said and done I offered her a Popsicle, jelly beans and who knows what else!

I am going to be in for a lot of heart aches....this is small potatoes compared to the 16 year old boy who is going to dump her that I will have to hunt down and smack! Or the team she doesn't make but everyone else does and I am going to have to take her to buy anything she wants! Don't forget the college that rejects her, even thought she doesn't want to go there. We will have to just talk about how it really wasn't a great school anyway!
Lord HELP me:)

Have a good one!
